Serve The Lord With All Your Heart · tuesday, january 3rd · Page Visits (2,025)

Pastor Anita

My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways (Proverbs 23:26).
Pastor Anita From our opening verse, it’s clear what the Lord wants: Your heart, and for your eyes to observe His ways. He wants you to serve Him and follow Him with whole-hearted devotion. Trust the Lord with your life and future without reservation.
At the beginning of a new year like this, there’re those who are apprehensive and uncertain about what the year holds. But as a child of God you don’t need to have any fears, worries or uncertainties about the year. Just make certain to live every day of the year in the will of God by committing yourself to doing His Work. Others may call you a fool for loving the Lord and serving Him with your life, but you can never be a fool for faith.
Nothing compares to living for Jesus. It’s the highest calling and honour! The Bible says, "He died for all, so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but only for him who died and was raised to life for their sake" (2 Corinthians 5:15 GNB). The man or woman who walks with the Lord is well positioned in life; he’s the one described in Psalm 1:3 as a tree planted by the rivers of water; everything he does prospers. He experiences maximum fulfilment and joy in life because his passion, emotions, desires and appetites are founded on Christ and the propagation of the Gospel.
Commit yourself to the Lord this year more than ever before. Let Him have a say in all that you do; follow His Word and yield to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Take your acts of worship and devotions seriously; don’t skip Church services, cell meetings and other spiritual activities in your local assembly. Follow the Lord with all your heart and serve Him with your life! Make a definite commitment to live for Him and do His will only, and teach others to do the same.
Confession
I reaffirm today, my resolve to serve you with my life and follow you in the Word, by the Word and through the Word. My life is for your glory; and I live today to bring you honour as I serve you with diligence and excellence! You’re all that I live for; thank you for the opportunity to know and serve you! You’re the personality of my deepest affection.
